Supporting creativity in the early years- touring exhibition

'Artist in residence'since 2009  at a local nursery….. I think its about time I shared some of our fantastic creative journeys with the rest of the world to inspire others. I have the privilege of supporting children's thinking and learning in many creative, experiential ways, where making and creating promotes critical thinking, cognitive functioning, problem solving and much more- In turn the children inspire me with new techniques and ways of doing things, even ideas for titles of paintings. Watch this space for information on a touring exhibition that offers parents/ carers / teachers and early years practitioners a rare glimpse of the true nature of creativity and how we can promote or unknowingly harm the creative process.
